What is digital inclusion?
Digital inclusion is about making sure that we have skills and access to digital equipment and the internet. We rely on technology so much these days and, whilst some of us have grown up with these developments, it can be hard to keep up, leaving many of us feeling left behind in this tide of technology.
Why is digital inclusion so important?
It allows people to use online services and allows for greater freedom to access information. The web has transformed almost every aspect of public, private and work life and it has improved people’s lives.
It’s a good idea to find someone who can help us overcome any barriers we have to using the internet.

There are a network of people across Wirral who are committed to sharing their knowledge. Age UK Wirral have Digital Buddies – volunteers who offer one to one and group support.
