The Dove Service is funded by the National Lottery Community fund to provide grief training and support to children and young people, parents and carers, and professionals. This is a 5-year project over Staffordshire, Cheshire, and the Wirral.
Our vision is to enable people who are experiencing bereavement, life changing illness or significant loss, to receive the highest quality of care and support to understand their grief and cope with their loss. We deliver our vision by providing counselling and group support activities to anyone who is or could be affected by bereavement, life changing illness or other significant loss.
Our Aim
Our aim is to promote resilience and awareness in regard to grief by working within communities by offering workshops, support groups, and drop-in sessions, this way we can identify individuals who may benefit from one-to-one support going forward.
Who is this aimed at?
The Dove Service is open to community groups, schools, colleges, and organisations.
