#ItsNeverOK

Domestic abuse is any incident or pattern of incidents of controlling, coercive or threatening behaviour, violence or abuse between those aged 16 or over who are or have been intimate partners or family members, regardless of gender or sexuality.

#ItsNeverOK offers a one-stop view of services across Wirral for domestic abuse support. It is open to anyone who may be experiencing or think they are experiencing domestic abuse, professionals supporting someone through domestic abuse, and if you are worried about a family member of friend.

Please note: This is not an emergency service, if you or someone you know is in immediate danger call the police on 999.

If you are experiencing domestic abuse and are at risk of serious harm from intimate partners, ex-partners, or family members, you can talk about this to a professional who can offer support. Wirral Domestic Abuse Hub is a free and confidential service for male and female victim/survivors and their children.

Wirral Domestic Abuse Hub – We’re Here When You’re Ready

Wirral Domestic Abuse Hub is a multi-agency team who offer tailored domestic abuse support to those who need it. We recognise that domestic abuse impacts the whole family and is not a one-size-fits-all approach, we will work with you to ensure you get the right support for you and your family at the right time. We’re here for you, whether it’s the first or twentieth time you’ve asked for support, whether it’s someone to talk to or a specific piece of support. Whilst our support cannot take away the trauma, we hope that through our work we can help you to live the life you want after abuse has occurred.

We work with our partners to make Wirral a place where domestic abuse is not tolerated, to teach our children what healthy relationships look like, to create a brighter, kinder future for the next generation. There is support available across Wirral, for everyone.

Everyone can play a role in ending domestic abuse
