Hector’s House is a suicide prevention charity promoting open discussions around mental health to end stigma and prevent suicide.
Hector’s House was founded in memory of Hector, who took his own life in 2011 at the age of 18. His family are working to encourage people to seek help in a time of crisis so no other family has to go through the pain they have experienced.
Our Vision
Help everyone get access to the mental health support they need to ensure people don’t ever reach the point of suicide.
Hector’s House Mission
To prevent suicide through education, awareness and support.
We aim to make it easier to recognise the symptoms and improve acceptance of mental illness and increase available help.
We Listen
We are always here to listen to you, and by working together, we can get you the help you need
We Encourage
With our ‘Eat Move Love’ campaign, we encourage everyone to eat better, move more and strengthen our relationships with ourselves and others. These three simple steps have huge benefits for our mental health.
