YEP is Young Everyman Playhouse… a place of playful creativity for young people to be themselves, tell stories and gain opportunities in the creative industry.
Working with outstanding professional artists, being in YEP you’ll develop your creativity, learn new skills, gain qualifications and make new friends in our welcoming and supportive groups and sessions.
You might be interested in the arts or maybe creative, but still figuring out what you want to do. You could have experience in creating theatre or perhaps just want to try something new. If you’re a committed and passionate individual, have heaps of curious creativity and are willing to try something new, then we’d love to welcome you!
YEP is a place for you to find your voice and make work that reflects the world we live in.
You’ll come together as part of a community of young people, where you can:
• Develop confidence in your skills and yourself.
• Learn new skills and discover new interests.
• Be in a judgement-free zone.
• Meet new people and open up opportunities for what you deserve to experience.
• Have a sense of belonging and identity.
• Create a network with people like you.
