Wirral Armed Forces Day

Armed Forces Day takes place on the last Saturday each June.

It also marks the culmination of a week of celebrations, when the public show their support and appreciation for the Armed Forces community. It also includes Reserves Day, which provides the country with an opportunity to recognise our Reserve Forces. There are many ways for people, communities and organisations across the country to show their support and get involved.

Wirral Armed Forces Day is 12.00 until 17.00. We have Wirral Wave Radio supporting our event, with a live band called Tnt playing and The 175 choir singing. With military displays throughout the day. With Royal Navy, Army, Royal Air Force displays on. Stalls, military vehicles. Armed forces day show your support

Wirral Armed Forces Day 2024

There will be a parade to start the day off, with lots more to look forward to, with loads of fun for the kids.

Wirral Waves Radio will be joining us for the celebrations, and they will be there to announce the events for you, including:

Military displays throughout the day
Royal Navy, Royal Army and Royal Air Force displays, with stands and recruitment displays
Inflatable obstacle course
Displays from local Sea, Army, and Air Cadets and Scouts
Live band - TNT and The 175 Choir performing on the day
40 plus crafts, food and kids stalls
Army Reserve Display and Vehicles
Individual stalls, drinks and refreshments

There will also be a Tug of War competition between cadets to end the day.
