The Wirral Animal Centre has been helping animals since the 1940’s. We always give priority to sick, injured and unowned animals. We are now operating on an appointment only basis.
We promote responsible pet ownership through neutering and microchipping campaigns.
We are a separate branch of the RSPCA and don’t have any Inspectors on site. All cruelty/welfare concerns should be reported directly to the RSPCA.
Summer Fair and Open Day
This year, we will be doing things a little differently for our summer Fair. We will be holding a Summer Fair and Open day, so everyone is welcome to come and see the work we do helping cats locally. We will be giving tours with members of staff who can show you around, explain more about what we do, and answer any questions.
Our Summer Fair this year will be held in the front gardens area where there is shelter if needed from our ‘Summer Weather’ where we normally have Gazebo’s flying everywhere.
We will of course have our wonderful cake stall which is very popular every year thanks to Sandra’s wonderful creations. There will be lots of other stalls and refreshments.
Dogs are of course still welcome to come with their families.
As this is our main fundraiser of the year, and as your local RSPCA we are a separately registered charity to the National RSPCA and are responsible for our own funding. We help rescue, rehabilitate and rehome around 500 cats mostly local as well as a few dogs – we hope you will come along and support us.
Who is this aimed at?
