Selling Sunlight 

Step into our special exhibition at Port Sunlight Museum to explore how William Lever made his soap company into a household name and worldwide brand.

Discover the innovative approach Lever took with advertisements and see some of the company’s most famous publicity campaigns. See original maps, product samples, packaging and nostalgic displays. There’s even a recreated grocer’s shop.

How to get involved

To enter the museum and Edwardian Worker’s Cottage, you must purchase a ticket for the Port Sunlight Experience. This includes the option to add on a guided walking tour of the village. You can pay on the day or book your ticket online in advance.
