Comics Youth was founded in 2015 and is a creative community organisation led by young people, for young people. Our aim is to empower youth across the Liverpool City Region to flourish from the margins of society: Harnessing their own narratives, finding confidence within an inclusive community, and developing the resilience to succeed on their own path.
Here for the Nerds
New social group for people aged 14 to 25 at Make CIC.
‘Here for the Nerds’ will be an open access drop-in 1.30pm to 3pm on Saturdays at Make in Birkenhead.
Offering a safe space for you to chill, meet new people and be creative. There will also be a range of games and activities like DnD, board games, or use of the Switch/drawing tablets.
Comics Youth have consulted with loads of young people and decided that ‘Here for the Nerds’ would be the perfect group where you can make new friends and feel safe in a relaxed and chilled out space.
There will be free snacks and drinks.
Be yourself and have fun.

We are person-led in all of our spaces, so if you have any barriers to access or require some specific support to enable you to engage with us - please email us.
