Rise Young Minds Sanctuary is running a 4-week Reiki group programme for 8-17 year olds.
The programme offers a safe, non-clinical space for children who are struggling with their mental and emotional health.
Over the 4 weeks you will cover:
Once completed, you will have a toolkit to take home, to practice skills for mental health and emotional regulation.
These gentle, non-invasive practices can help reduce anxiety, improve emotional regulation, and build resilience, particularly for young people who may not respond well to traditional talking therapy.
All appropriate referrals will be offered an initial mental health consultation to ensure the service is suitable. If Rise Young Minds Sanctuary do not think the service best meets the young person’s needs they will signpost to a more appropriate service.
Rise Young Minds Sanctuary is run by two mental health nurses with over 20 years of experience as NHS Mental Health Nurses, primarily within Children and Young Persons Mental Health Services. Their experience spans a wide range of NHS settings, including clinical leadership roles within acute mental health wards and therapeutic work within community mental health services.
