5 Ways to Wellbeing – Wirral Mental Health Support Team (MHST)

5 Ways to Wellbeing – Wirral Mental Health Support Team (MHST)

5 Ways to Wellbeing is a simple but powerful approach that helps children and young people improve their mental health and feel more positive every day.

In the MHST workshops, children will take part in fun, creative and interactive activities designed to explore the 5 ways to wellbeing. They will learn practical tools to support their mood, build confidence and feel more connected – all while having fun!

The programme covers:

  • Connections: Spending time with people who make you feel good
  • Taking notice: Being curious. Noticing the little things around you
  • Giving: Doing something kind for someone else
  • Being active: Moving your body, having fun and boosting your mood
  • Learning: Trying new things and being proud of your progress

These are active workshops with lots of movement, games and hands-on activities.

Wirral Mental Health Support Team (MHST) is part of Wirral Children and Young People’s Mental Health Services (CYPMHS) – formerly known as CAMHS – and is a service designed to help meet the mental health needs of children and young people in education settings.
