The Trauma, Bereavement and Loss Programme is a gentle and supportive 60-hour healing programme for women who have experienced bereavement, loss, and trauma through difficult life events.
The programme uses an experiential and creative approach to healing, offering a range of therapeutic supports including creative arts, sand play, music, poetry, meditation, reflection, and group connection.
Throughout the programme, you are supported within a caring, respectful, and non-judgemental environment where your voices, experiences, and personal journeys are honoured. Participants are encouraged to engage in ways that feel safe and comfortable for them, with choice, trust, and emotional wellbeing at the centre of the process.
The programme is facilitated by experienced and qualified counsellors who are trained in working creatively and therapeutically with trauma, bereavement, and loss. Their role is to walk alongside each participant with compassion, sensitivity, and understanding as healing and recovery unfold.
WEB Merseyside was founded in 1993 by a group of local women who saw a need for better community support in Birkenhead.
What began as a small, volunteer-led network for women has grown into a thriving community organisation supporting women age 18+ and young women age 13+ across the Wirral.
WEB Merseyside support women who may feel isolated, victimised, marginalised, or overlooked. Through listening, learning, and community connection they help individuals reconnect with their worth and create the life they want, on their own terms.
