My Mighty Mind – Wirral Mental Health Support Team (MHST)

My Mighty Mind - Wirral Mental Health Support Team (MHST)

My Mighty Mind is a fun and supportive wellbeing programme designed to help children build the skills they need to feel happier, more confident and ready to take on life’s challenges.

Through engaging activities and group workshops, children will explore important areas of wellbeing, practice new strategies and have opportunities to share, create and grow in a safe and friendly environment.

The programme covers:

  • Building confidence: Believe in yourself and celebrate what makes you you
  • Staying calm: Learn ways to manage big feelings and stay calm
  • Developing skills: Practice useful skills for school, life and everyday challenges
  • Stronger relationships: Build positive friendships and learn how to work well with others
  • Healthy habits: Make choices to look after your mind and body
  • Mindfulness: Take time to pause and practice what feels good

The sessions are designed as a quieter group experience that focus on desk-based activities, including journalling, creative writing, worksheets and guided reflection.

Wirral Mental Health Support Team (MHST) is part of Wirral Children and Young People’s Mental Health Services (CYPMHS) – formerly known as CAMHS – and is a service designed to help meet the mental health needs of children and young people in education settings. The MHST team works alongside all primary schools and eight mainstream secondary schools in Wirral.
