Penguin Book’s Little Book Shops – Magenta Living

Clover Drive, Birkenhead, UK

Bidston Rise Community House is now home to one of Penguin Books’ Little Book Stops, a nationwide initiative bringing the joy of reading to communities across the UK. Our Book Stop is one of just 90 installed nationally, and it’s already sparking excitement locally.

Penguin Book’s Little Book Shops

The concept is simple yet powerful: borrow a book, enjoy it, and return it for someone else to discover. Whether you’re a regular reader or just starting your journey, the Little Book Stop is here to make books accessible to everyone in our community.

Located outside the Bidston Rise Community Centre, run by Magenta partners CORE Project, the Book Stop is perfectly placed to encourage engagement. Conversations have already begun about forming a local reading group, and we’re excited to see more residents making use of this fantastic resource in the months ahead.

Who is this aimed at?
