Tourettes Action is a UK national charity dedicated to supporting individuals with Tourette syndrome and their families. Their staff, volunteers and supporters are engaged and energised in driving forward their mission. Everything they do is grounded in the community’s needs and informed by both the voices of the community and research-based evidence.
Online Support Groups
Our online support groups are a great opportunity for the TS community to connect with each other. Hosted on video platform Zoom, our Online Support Groups Leader facilitates groups for parents, adults and teenagers.
Each meeting has a maximum capacity of 20 participants, therefore early booking is encouraged to secure your place.
We run a variety of groups such as:
Parents Coffee Morning – Our regular support group gives parents the opportunity to meet other parents for mutual support and a friendly chat.
Adult Support Group – This friendly and welcoming group is for adults with TS, offering mutual support, understanding and friendship, and will be facilitated by TA.
Dads/Male Role Models Group – A group especially for dads and male role models of children with TS. Hosted by Adam Janocka, an adult with TS and also a dad of children with TS.
Parent/Care Giver Evening Group – Join us to meet other parents and care givers for mutual support and a friendly chat.
Family Support Group – This friendly and welcoming group is for families of young people living with Tourette’s, offering mutual support, understanding and friendship. Young people and their siblings are very welcome.
Teen Support Group – This friendly and welcoming group is for teens with Tourette’s aged 13-17 years, offering mutual support, understanding and friendship.
Q&A Drop-In Session – Join our informal drop-in session, to speak with our Online Support Group Leader, Kat, with any questions you may have. These sessios are open to everyone.
