Community Shop is our award-winning social enterprise, building stronger individuals and more confident communities. It uses surplus food to do much more than feed those on the cusp of food poverty. It builds confidence, gives people purpose and nurtures stronger communities. Providing its members with vital access to deeply discounted food, as well as life-changing learning and development programmes, Community Shop is a hand up, not a handout.
Satellite Family Hubs
Beechwood Community Shop is a community organisation linked to the main Family Hub in their area, and we form part of the Family Hub Network in Wirral, working together to provide essential support services to families. Though we might not offer all the core services available at the main hub, we will strengthen the community offer ensuring families have access to the right support by linking them with the main hub, or by networking with partner organisations.
Satellite Family Hubs ensure that families can access the support they need, helping to build stronger and more resilient communities.
Wirral Satellite Family Hubs offer support to all families with children aged 0 to 19 (up to age 25 with SEND)
To be eligible to use Beechwood Community Shopyou must adhere to at least one of the following:

Monday to Friday – 9am to 4:30pm
Saturday – 9am to 2:30pm
Sunday – Closed
Low community cost
