The Mariposa Trust is a leading support charity primarily working within the field of baby loss and bereavement.

We provide services and support for anyone affected by baby loss at any stage of pregnancy, at birth or in infancy (whether recent or historic), infertility, pregnancy after loss, and much more.

When someone is going through loss, they can feel a wide range of emotions from anger to blame to deep guilt, and of course an overwhelming sense of grief.

How and when a person feels able to work through the grief is completely down to each individual, but as a charity, we want to ensure that at whatever point that is, we can provide a comprehensive support service to them.

We provide many resources, information, advice, support, befriending, campaigning, etc.

Baby loss is a global issue with around 30 million miscarriages each year, 2.6 million stillbirths and 5.495 million neo-natal and early years losses. The Mariposa Trust is leading the way in providing better support for anyone going through loss and increasing awareness of the size and scale of the issue.
