The Right Side of Care is a council website for children looked after and care leavers living both in Wirral and further afield. The website provides information for young people and tells them about their rights.
As well as information on fostering and adoption, the site covers the care plan, leaving care, accommodation, and much more – and is useful for both young people, professionals, and carers. The site was created in 2014 and developed with children and young people from Wirral.

The Right Side of Care Pack has been developed with children and young people from Wirral to give you some information when you first become looked after.
The pack explains the care system and has feedback forms and review documents. It covers three age ranges; 4-8, 9-12, and aged 13+, please contact the Right Side of Care team to request a pack.

This was one of the most important things care experienced young people told us they wanted. Our Space is a safe, friendly place that you can come to for events, staff support, a community shop, a café and more.
