Things to try if you’re feeling lonely

  1. Try telling someone you trust how you feel, like a friend, family member, health professional or counsellor.
  2. Consider joining a group or class that focuses on something you enjoy or something for the kids, e.g., a toddler group.
  3. Go out somewhere where you can just be around other people – for example, a park, the cinema or a café.
