Located directly in the lower park, Birkenhead Park's Visitor Centre has plenty to offer. Ran by a dedicated team of park rangers, it serves as the hub of the local community. There it is possible to participate in various activities for families and kids, as well as for groups.
Among other things, rangers organise Forest School sessions for local schools, using the park’s environment as an educational resource.
Rangers deliver guided nature and park history walks and run weekly volunteer task sessions.
The Visitor Centre includes a front desk with information about the park and its activities and has park merchandise for sale, a café, visitor facilities, a gallery space and a function room (both available to rent).
