Survivors – Wirral

Survivors - Wirral

The voice group is a place survivors of domestic abuse can come together to talk about their experiences within services in relation to domestic abuse, whether this is good or bad. This then allows us to feed back the voices of victims to Wirral’s domestic abuse alliance, which is made up from all heads of services in the Wirral. We feed positive and negative experiences of services and their ideas for how this can improve, to help make a real difference going forward. We are also encouraging participants of the group to join the alliance with us if they would feel comfortable so they can share their experiences directly to the alliance, as this has a big impact.

  • Have you or someone you know been impacted by Domestic Abuse?
  • Do you have experiences of services you would like to share?
  • Are you passionate about making our community services better?

This is your chance to HAVE YOUR VOICE HEARD

Our ambition is for Wirral to be a place whereas few people as possible are affected by domestic abuse, but those who are can get help to end the abuse and go on to live the lives they want. We hope to turn our ambition into a reality by focusing on five priorities:

  1. Be there when we are needed
  2. Increase safety for those at risk, without adding to their trauma
  3. Reduce opportunities for perpetrators to abuse
  4. Support people to live the lives they want after harm occurs
  5. A better, kinder future for the next generation.

Come along and join our Voice Group

A place to discuss your experiences within different services and help make a real change going forward.
