We’re Pause, a national charity that works to improve the lives of women who have had – or are at risk of having – more than one child removed from their care, and the services and systems that affect them.
Pause Practices work directly with women so that no woman should ever have to experience the removal of a child more than once. They offer an intensive, supportive 18-month programme that involves a trusting relationship between a woman and their Pause Practitioner. We currently have 23 Pause Practices, operating across 29 local authorities.
Women who have experienced, or are at risk of, repeat removals of children from their care.
