Next Chapter is an early intervention service, to improve life outcomes and reduce the number of referrals to statutory services, with the escalation of mental health difficulties for both children and adults. Now offering online support courses.
Our role is to help you focus on your strengths and what you can control and achieve, enabling you to put a solid foundation in place, to create the life that you want, with the tools and resources to confidently build it. This means that we focus on the basics, meeting you where you are at and walking the journey with you until you feel confident to try it alone.
Developing Positive Communication
Our online course is delivered via Zoom for 3 hours a week for 6 weeks. Each course is delivered termly.
Accredited with Open Awards, you will leave the course with a set of tools to understand how best to support and connect with your child, manage emotions, develop relationships, improve communication, create a calmer environment and manage family challenges with greater confidence.
The course aims to:
- Consider goals that you want to achieve, to improve family life.
- Better understand mental health, stress and anxiety.
- Explore brain development and influences which impact it.
- Understand the brain, stages of emotions and strategies to manage them
- Improve communication and relationships.

This is aimed at children, parents and families.
