Big Heritage are thought-leaders and innovators in the field of heritage engagement in the UK.
The organisation was founded in 2011 as a not for profit community interest company to connect communities and audience to their shared heritage.
Our focus is on putting people at the heart of heritage. By giving people a sense of ownership over their shared past, they are much more likely to understand it, appreciate it and further understand their own place in a fast-changing world.
We have received countless regional and national awards for our work in heritage interpretation, community impact and engagement, innovation in business, environmental impact and destination tourism and marketing.
