Arty Texture at Tate Liverpool

Our mission is to increase the public’s enjoyment and understanding of British art from the 16th century to the present day and of international modern and contemporary art.

Arty Texture

Join us for free hands-on creative workshops for families of all ages at Tate Liverpool + RIBA North. Get inspired by wall-to-wall art in our free Brickworks display to construct your creations.

Explore our Brickworks Den where you can draw and imagine magical arty textures with your paper and cardboard sculptures. Try tracing your silhouette on our brick wall inspired by artist Keith Arnatt. Create spectacular rainbow coloured brick rubbings using our ceramic brick tiles embedded in our furniture inspired by artist Anna Barriball. Be prepared to have loads of fun constructing, building, cutting, gluing, tracing, stamping!

Our Learning Space is open every day for visiting families- a space to relax and create with art games, colouring-in, books, toys and more!

Share your experience with us on social media using @tateliverpool and #TLfamilies.
